Justin received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and then his MD at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then crossed the northern border and completed his family medicine residency training here at UW-Madison. He is excited to be staying for another year to hone his skills in caring for the LGBTQ+ population, which is a realization of one of his original goals in becoming a physician.
He looks forward to continuing his learning in how to provide comprehensive, quality care for this population and how to be an effective advocate for them in community and medical spaces. He is also glad to be continuing to practice primary care part time at the Wingra Family Medical Center, whose staff and patients have helped shape how he practices medicine.
When he’s not working, Justin enjoys traveling, caring for his pets and plants, and watching reality TV with his partner.
