Dr. Sarah Pickle (she/her), is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in women's health and a career focus in transgender medicine. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in Family and Community Medicine and Director of Medical Education for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Pickle plays a central role in shaping medical education and practice. At the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Pickle developed and oversees the transgender medicine curriculum, aiming to equip future physicians with the knowledge and skills needed to provide inclusive care. Additionally, she leads the newly established Sawyer Pardo Fellowship for LGBTQ+ Health, demonstrating her commitment to advancing LGBTQ+ health equity through education and mentorship. Driven by her passion for training the next generation of healthcare professionals, Dr. Pickle focuses on promoting LGBTQ+ health justice in both academic and clinical settings. In her clinical practice, she cares for patients in a family medicine model that integrates gender-affirming care, sexual health, and family planning services, ensuring comprehensive care for patients across the lifespan.
